Roof structure KVH wood of the C24 class

Following successful casting of the gable wall concrete, the roof structure has started.

The material used for the roof truss is high-quality KVH wood, class C24 with 18% humidity. It is a dry construction material. It will not warp like typical wood used in most construction sites, and it will be more resistant to fungi, insects and discolouration.

18 rafter sections were cut and erected, connected together at the pitch of the roof and the wall plate at an angle of 25 degrees.

The next step will be to connect them to the bottom band and posts.
